| Sammy Wilson MP MLA:
One of Northern Ireland's best known public
representatives and a firm advocate of the
maintenance of the union between Great Britain
and Northern Ireland.
Educated at Methodist College and graduated with
honours in Economics from Queen's University
First elected to Belfast City Council in 1981, has now
served for 24 years, twice acting as Lord Mayor
Prior to being elected to the Stormont Assembly in
1998 employed as Head of Economics at Grosvenor
Grammar School and Assistant Chief Examiner for
A-Level Economics in Northern Ireland.
Member of the N.I. Policing Board and N.I. Housing
Council
Helped increase DUP representation in East Antrim
from one to three MLAs in 2003 Assembly election
Operating from three DUP offices in East Antrim
constituency, has proved effective representative for
the area, trusts voters of East Antrim will now endorse
him to represent them at Westminster
This Westminster election is an
important contest between the
DUP and IRA/Sinn Fein over which
party will top the poll.
Only the DUP is in a position to prevent IRA/Sinn
Fein winning an important propaganda success
which would help lift the political pressure they
are currently experiencing.
Leaving aside the failures, dishonesty, broken
promises and weak representation of the UUP in
the past it is important to cast your vote for
Sammy Wilson and the DUP in this election to
ensure that the voice of N.I. in Westminster is a
unionist voice.
