DUP REPRESENTATIVES

Your local DUP Representative:

Jeffrey Donaldson MP MLA:

During my time as your Member of Parliament, I have worked to address the needs of my constituents and of the local communities that I represent. As a result of our combined efforts it can be said that today Lagan Valley is a better place in which to live and work. Whilst we now have the lowest unemployment in Northern Ireland at just 1.4%, I am working closely with local business and government agencies to create thousands of new job opportunities for local people. This includes the prospect of multi-million pound developments at Sprucefield and a National Sports Stadium and other major facilities located on the site of the former Maze prison.

The DUP or Sinn Fein?

Sinn Fein's goal in this election is to eclipse all other parties, become the largest party in Northern Ireland and deliver a deathblow to its nationalist rival the SDLP. If it was to achieve its goal of outpolling and winning more Westminster seats than any other party republicans would travel the world claiming to speak for Northern Ireland and demanding that their agenda be implemented. This would provide them with an immense propaganda tool. It must not happen. With the UUP hopelessly divided and rudderless only the DUP can halt Sinn Fein. At all the recent elections the DUP has clearly outpolled the UUP. The DUP is Northern Ireland's largest political party and only the DUP can stop Sinn Fein from taking the top spot. The certain result of this election is that it will be either Sinn Fein or the DUP which will be the largest party after the results are declared. You can play your part in keeping unionism ahead. Don't waste your vote on those who cannot win.
