Gregory Campbell combines the two characteristics that the DUP are
known for, speaking out on a range of issues and tireless representation.
The Unionist community has a number of concerns, they know in
Gregory Campbell they have an ardent advocate. They also know that
to combat republican misrepresentation and deceit they must have a
consistent campaigner.
WHAT GREGORY CAMPBELL STANDS FOR:
- Confronting and exposing Sinn Fein's hypocrisy
- Consistency and Integrity
- 2 Full Time Offices in the heart of the constituency
- Delivering free fares for the elderly
- On the ground - Speaking and Working... For You!
Over recent years Gregory has been to the forefront
in assisting local communities and individuals
regarding their rights and entitlements.
Each Community Association across the
East Londonderry constituency is informed by
the MP about developments that local people
can benefit from.
The Warm Homes Scheme, Benefits entitlements,
Pension rights, Free TV licences for the over 75's
have been just a few recent examples.
Gregory believes an effective Member of Parliament will balance time wisely between being in
the House of Commons to speak, vote and lobby on relevant Local, National and
International issues and being in the constituency to meet with and speak to
constituents about the matters they wish to have raised at various levels.
Gregory Campbell has been a member of the Northern Ireland Affairs Select Committee in the House of Commons
which deals with many of the issues affecting Ulster people. He has also garnered the support of a number of
MP's from other Parties for issues as diverse as sport in Northern Ireland, opposition to the discriminatory 50/50
recruitment for the Police here, opposing the proliferation of charging ATM's by financial institutions etc.
He has consistently pressed Government on the need for greater investment in the employment, tourism and
transport sectors for the Coleraine and Limavady areas. He has led local delegations to Ministers on issues such as
the increase in second homes on the North Coast, the under-funding of the Ulster Scots cultural identity.
